Just past the quaint area of Townville, one turns on to Coneross Creek Road, which leads to Weinacker's Restaurant, formerly named Coneross Creek Fish Lodge. Its beginnings were thirty-six years ago on June 19, 1969 by a Mobile, Alabama native, Henry Weinacker. Henry loves to cook and knows what people enjoy. His wife, Lori, a former elementary school teacher from Huntington, Long Island, joined him in 1980 first as a partner and then as a wife.
Their two children, Kristen and Henry III, have been an integral part of the restaurant atmosphere. Kristen graduated from Clemson University as a registered nurse and is an avid cyclist. Henry started his own multi-million dollar travel company and will be releasing his first book soon.
The primary goal of the Weinackers is to create a cozy and quiet elegance in a friendly setting, serving the finest quality of foods available.
